Classification of surface patterns on 304 stainless steel plate and stainless steel wire drawing plate

Brushed board generally refers to the general term for surface patterns, formerly known as frosted board. The surface patterns include straight lines, irregular lines (and patterns), ripples, and threads.

  1. Brushed straight grain. Usually, the surface of stainless steel is processed by mechanical friction to obtain a straight line pattern. The processing process of wire drawing board can eliminate scratches on the surface of stainless steel plate raw materials, and also has a good decorative effect. There are also long and short silk patterns in this type of pattern, because this pattern uses a cleaning cloth or stainless steel brush to make straight or short lines on the surface of the board, and different thickness patterns can be obtained by changing the diameter of the steel brush.

  2. Brushed and disorderly pattern (harmonious pattern). From a distance, the surface sand pattern is composed of circles of sand patterns, while in close proximity, it is irregular and disorderly patterns, which are formed by irregular swinging of the grinding head from top to bottom, left to right, and then electroplated and colored. The surface of this pattern is in a matte state, and the production requirements are also very high.

  3. Brushed ripple. The production process utilizes the axial movement of the grinding rollers used on the brushing or polishing machine, so that the stainless steel surface undergoes grinding and brushing to obtain wavy patterns.

  4. Brushed threads. Its production and processing process has some characteristics. Firstly, a small motor is used, with a circular felt installed on its shaft. The small motor is fixed on the desktop, and the angle with the edge of the table is about 60 °. Afterwards, a drag plate is made to fix the stainless steel plate, and a polyester film is also attached to the drag plate along the edge to limit the thread speed. After this, the felt and mop can be rotated in a straight line, and thread patterns of the same width can be obtained by processing the surface of the stainless steel plate.
