European Standard Steel (II)

   The external dimensions of the HEA standard series of European standard H-shaped steel are relatively small.

  The HEB standard series of European standard H-shaped steel belongs to conventional sizes.

  The HEM standard series of European standard H-shaped steel belongs to the thickened specification.

  HEA is an ultra wide airfoil with B greater than H, which is not included in the national standard;

  HEB is equivalent to the national standard HW, which means that B is equal to a wide airfoil of H (but when H is greater than 300, B remains unchanged at 300. For example, the belly height H and wing width B of HEB400 are 400 and 300, respectively);

  HEM is equivalent to the national standard HM, that is, a mid airfoil with B less than H (2/3-1/2 times);

  IPE is equivalent to the national standard HN, which is a narrow airfoil with B much smaller than H (less than 1/2 times).
