HastelloyC-276 Material Introduction

  HastellyC-276 (UNS N10276/7,. 2.4819) alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction states. Excellent resistance to point corrosion, barrier corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Alloys are suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The high content of key and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and tungsten further improves its corrosion resistance. Hastellor-276 is one of the few materials that can withstand the corrosion of humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and complex solutions of dioxide. This alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration complex salt solutions (such as iron chloride and copper chloride).
