Introduction to threaded steel products
Threaded steel is commonly known as ordinary hot-rolled steel bars, which are hot-rolled ribbed steel bars. Its grade is composed of HRB and the minimum yield point of the grade. H. R and B are the first letters of the English words' Hotrolled ',' Ribbed ', and' Bars'. Hot rolled ribbed steel bars are divided into HRB335 (old brand 20Mnsi) and HRB400 (old brand 20MnSiV, 20MnSiNb, 20Mnnti)
Three grades of HRB500. The grade of fine-grained hot-rolled steel bars is abbreviated as "fine" after the English abbreviation for hot-rolled ribbed steel bars (the first letters of "fine" are HRBF335, HRBF400, and HRBF500).
The applicable grades for seismic structures with high requirements are: adding E after the existing grades (such as HRB400E, HRBF400E). Main use: widely used in civil engineering construction such as houses, bridges, roads, etc. Main production areas: The manufacturers of thread steel are mainly distributed in North China and Northeast China. In North China, such as Shougang, Tanggang, Xuangang, Chenggang, Shanxi Zhongyang Steel Plant, Baoding Purui Steel, etc., and in Northeast China, such as Xilin, Beitai, Fushang, etc., these two regions account for over 50% of the total production of thread steel.
The difference between ribbed steel and plain round steel bars is that the surface has longitudinal and transverse ribs, usually with two longitudinal ribs and evenly distributed transverse ribs along the length direction. Screwed steel belongs to small section steel and is mainly used for the skeleton of reinforced concrete building components. In use, certain mechanical strength, bending deformation performance, and process welding performance are required. The raw material steel for producing threaded steel is carbon structural steel or low alloy structural steel that has undergone killed melting treatment, and the finished steel bars are delivered in hot-rolled, normalized, or hot-rolled state.
