Is the common processing method for stainless steel pipes the same?

   There are many places in our lives where stainless steel products are used, and they can be processed into different stainless steel products through different methods. Is this also the case with our common stainless steel pipe processing methods? Let's uncover the secret together

  If it is processed with stainless steel plates, the thicker the unit size, the greater the bending force we need, and as the thickness of the stainless steel plate increases, the bending force of the bending equipment should also be greater.

  2. When bending stainless steel, the higher the tensile strength per unit size, the lower the elongation. Therefore, the greater the bending force required, the greater the bending angle.

  3. If the thickness of the stainless steel plate corresponds to the bending radius in the design drawing, based on the experience of the stainless steel pipe manufacturer, the unfolding size of a bent workpiece should be the sum of the right angle edges minus two plate thicknesses, which can fully meet the design accuracy requirements.

  4. If the yield strength of stainless steel material is greater, the elastic recovery will also be greater. If a 90 degree angle of the bent part can be obtained, the required angle of the press blade should be designed to be smaller.

  There are currently two methods in the market for shaping stainless steel pipes into curved shapes:

  1、 Cold bending method: Generally, a bending machine is used to roll and shape multiple times.

  Disadvantages are: 1. The diameter of the steel pipe is limited, usually only between 1CM-5CM

  2. If the curvature is too small, it is easy to cause deformation of the steel pipe diameter

  2、 Hot bending method: Fill the stainless steel pipe with sand, fill it up, and perform high-temperature heat treatment to bend it. This method is ideal;

  The disadvantage is that the cost is too high, the cost is high, and it is not suitable for mass production.
