The commonly used steel grades for Japanese standard seamless steel pipes include STPY41, STPG38, STB30, STB33, STB35, STPT42, etc. The corresponding domestic materials are No. 10 and No. 20 steel. Japanese standard seamless steel pipes are made from steel ingots or solid billets that are perforated into tubes, and then hot rolled, cold rolled, or cold drawn. With a hollow cross-section, it is widely used for conveying fluids in pipelines. Compared with solid steel such as round steel, steel pipes have a lighter weight when their bending and torsional strength are the same.
