Japanese Standard (6)
1. SM490A is produced by large steel mills such as Baosteel and is equivalent to Q355B.
2. SM490YA is a high-strength welded structural steel used for bridges, ships, vehicles, oil storage tanks, containers, and other structural components that require excellent welding performance. It is commonly used for welding containers. Equivalent to China's high weathering structural steel Q345GNHL.
3. SM570TMC is a structural steel that can achieve high tension without quenching and tempering. Through online heat treatment technology, it mainly uses accelerated cooling process (OLAC) and the addition of trace alloying elements (Nb, Ti, V) to achieve comprehensive mechanical properties of the steel. It is also known as microalloyed non quenched and tempered steel. Currently, there is no steel factory in China to produce it, and there is no equivalent or corresponding grade. Although there are non quenched and tempered structural steel grades and standards in China, such as YF35V, the performance cannot meet the corresponding steel grades in Japan. Please refer to GB/T15712 for national standards.
4. SS400 corresponds to Q235B in China.
