Types and applications of nickel based alloys
According to the main properties of alloys, nickel based alloys can be divided into nickel based heat resistant alloys, nickel based corrosion resistant alloys, nickel based wear resistant alloys, etc; Classified by composition, it can be divided into Ni Cr Mo alloy, Ni Mo alloy, Ni Cr Mo Cu alloy, Ni Cu alloy, Ni Cr alloy, etc. The following are common grades of nickel based alloys.
Hastelloy C-276 (UNS N10276, abbreviated as C-276 alloy), a Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy, has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, especially in the environment of flue gas desulfurization containing chlorine ions. Widely used in fields such as flue gas desulfurization engineering, pollution control engineering, chemical equipment, etc.
Inconel 625 (UNS N06625, abbreviated as 625 alloy) is a Ni Cr Mo alloy used in harsh corrosive environments, especially in environments with crevice corrosion, spot corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation. Widely used in fields such as aerospace engineering, chemical equipment, oil and gas development, and pollution control engineering.
Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825, abbreviated as 825 alloy), a Ni Fe Cr Mo alloy, has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, and good resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and intergranular corrosion. It is widely used in chemical equipment, petroleum engineering, pollution control engineering and other fields.
Inconel 600 (UNS N06600, referred to as Alloy 600 for short), a Ni Cr Fe alloy, has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and alkali corrosion. It is widely used in petrochemical, nuclear industry and other fields.
Monel 400 (UNS N04400) is a Ni Cu alloy that exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in corrosive environments such as seawater, dilute hydrofluoric acid, and dilute sulfuric acid. Widely used in marine engineering, salt making equipment, chemical equipment, and other fields.
