What is Super Ferritic Stainless Steel

Ferritic stainless steel refers to a type of stainless steel with 11% to 30% Cr, a square crystal structure with a center of gravity, and a ferrite structure in use. According to the difference of chromium content in steel, ferritic stainless steels can be roughly divided into three categories: 11% - 15% Cr, 16% - 20% Cr, 21% - 30% Cr. The chromium content of super ferritic stainless steels is generally 25% - 30%, belonging to high chromium ferritic stainless steels. Ferritic stainless steels refer to various ferritic stainless steels with low carbon, nitrogen and ultra-low carbon and nitrogen produced by modern stainless steel production processes, especially AOD, VOD, Vacuum furnace and other refining technologies. Currently, there are mainly high-purity ferritic stainless steels; Super ferritic stainless steel; Low carbon, nitrogen, ultra low carbon, nitrogen medium chromium ferrite stainless steel and low chromium ferrite stainless steel, etc.
