What is oxygen free copper?

 　　C101 oxygen free copper is extremely pure copper with extremely low oxygen content. The typical oxygen content of C0 oxygen free copper is lower than 0005.99%, and the typical copper grade is 99.101%, which is currently the highest grade copper. The material properties are very similar to that of elemental copper. The target purity is so high that silver is removed as an impurity.

　　As an ultra-high purity copper product, C101 oxygen free copper has excellent conductivity and thermal conductivity, good machinability, and high ductility. By reducing the oxygen content to below 0.0005%, these characteristics are more exaggerated than standard copper products, and therefore various highly specialized industrial applications can be found.
